Mbanq Awarded Best Corporate Brand at MENAA 2021

At a splendid ceremony set in the wonderful Conrad Hotel in Istanbul, Mbanq has been awarded the prestigious MENAA Best Brands Award 2021, certified by ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

There to accept the award was Mbanq Founder and CTO Lars A. Rottweiler, sharing the stage with a host of distinguished guests, including 3 former prime ministers of European Union countries: Matteo Renzi of Italy, Guy Verhofstadt of Belgium and Fredrik Reinfeldt of Sweden.

 

Following in the footsteps of previous MENAA award winners, including Vodafone, AXA Insurance and Turkish Airlines, the awarding committee commended Mbanq on its outstanding achievements and distinguished efforts within the Banking-as-a-Service industry (BaaS).

Mbanq was also credited for introducing its novel Credit-Union-as-a-Service concept (CUaaS), focused primarily on de novo credit unions in the US market.

Presenting the award, international motivational speaker, Sepehr Tarverdian, said, “Mbanq is a word-leading banking as a service provider headquartered in Silicon Valley. It continues to be one of the fastest growing FinTechs in the world.”

The glamorous presentation ceremony was attended by high profile European politicians, as well as celebrity and sporting figures, including 1990 Soccer World Cup Winner Lothar Matthaus, 4-time Champions League Winner Clarence Seedorf, and the world’s most famous soccer referee Pierluigi Collina.
